The Muscular Help Foundation

Kaleidoscope Managing Director, Mike Mallett, is a friend and supporter of Michael McGrath having followed with interest his polar activities over the past three years.

Michael McGrath is a father, inspirational speaker, disABILITY Champion for Hilton UK & Ireland, Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and also Executive Director and Co-Founder for The Muscular Help Foundation. He has the debilitating muscle wasting disease Muscular Dystrophy. He made history by becoming the only disabled person to reach both the South Pole on 13th January 2004, having successfully reached the North Pole in April 2002.

The Muscular Help Foundation has a simple vision that is ‘To see a world free of muscle disorders’.

The Muscular Help Foundation is a dynamic not-for-profit organisation rooted in the notion that finding cures for those with muscle disorders including the muscle wasting disease Muscular Dystrophy is beyond the scope of any one individual or laboratory.

Kaleidoscope is delighted to be associated with this most worthwhile Foundation and urges you to support it in any way you can – be it by sponsoring a Muscle Dream, flexing your brand and financial muscle by establishing a Muscle Team Challenge programme or engaging Michael McGrath as your Muscle Speaker in provoking, stimulating and inspiring change.

Michael connects with his audiences by delivering powerful learning experiences; he uplifts both human and corporate consciousness. British born with a cocktail of Irish and Brazilian blood and educated by the Jesuits, Michael personifies the qualities of self-belief, resilience and purpose of mind, applying real experiences with real messages to today’s competitive business environment.
