The brief is to build an eco friendly, city "run-around" to address the increasing dilemma of CO2 emissions. The answer is of course to lose the engine! Supplied with 3 blueprints, each team must firstly decide which vehicle they wish to build.
We supply a range of building supplies from sheets of cardboard to inner carpet "tubes" plus a range of fabrics and accessories for decorating the finished product. We also give the teams the tools they need to cut, trim and build their chosen vehicle as well as supporting staff to help them along the way.
That's the easy bit! Once finished the teams must test their chosen vehicle against the others in the finale race off with one volunteer on board!
This is a fantastic building challenge with lots of design work involved as well and provides a visually exciting finale as teams realise they need constant work and pit stops to get through the heats to the finale. It will easily fit into many eco or green conference messages and can be adapted to suit your particular requirements.
Allow 2-3 hours for this activity which can be done indoors or out depending on the group size. Teams will be able to choose from designs for a rickshaw, chariot or cabriolet!
This activity has something for everyone and combines physical building activity with creative design application and is well suited to many conference messages that are keen to have a green, recycling and eco activity to support the business message on the day.
