Go For Gold

What this client required was a morning conference for 300 followed by an action packed afternoon with a sporty, winning, slightly Olympic feel to it to burn off some excess conference energy and to celebrate the success of new milestones in this global project team.

Kaleidoscope sourced a number of possible venues in the Home Counties and it was Ascot Racecourse that was eventually chosen as giving good access from London with plenty of space and grounds for the outside activities. As a truly international gathering it was also felt that this was a great British institution and venue to visit for the delegates - and so it proved!

With 300 people in 42 teams, it was decided that the only way to tackle this was to put on a plethora of different challenges and rotate the teams around them all throughout the afternoon session.

With 20 Challenges in 7 Zones ranging from laser clay shooting and archery to egg and spoon race to space hopper football and beach volleyball this event really did have something for everyone. It was intentionally a fast moving event with plenty of action since all the teams were playing simultaneously and it proved to be a great success.

Not only did we create a novel and brand new scoreboard for the client but we provided all round event expertise and guidance with AV recommendations and supplied shelter marquees and First Aid facilities for the activities.
